Emily is the main contributor for the blog. She is the communications coordinator for the Center for Landscape Conservation and Ecology and manages web, print, TV, and radio media. She has a permanent brown thumb, but loves writing about plants.

Kim contributes occasionally to the blog and also writes the Plant of the Month features. Kim is the resident horticulture writer and trained Master Gardener. Kim has a fascination with growing cannas in her yard.
Kim gardens regularly at her house in Gainesville. While not serving as a UF garden writer, Kim is known as the Sassy Crafter and upcycles old goods to new.
